Too Much Fun!!

Well...I guess I should start at the beginning. This week was going to be weird anyway but I just didn't know how weird! I rearranged my schedule to work around school, my oldest getting her braces on, a Keith Urban concert on Fri, and my parents going away for the weekend (no childcare). BAD IDEA!! Tuesday I got a call from Lena's teacher....she was sick and someone needed to come and get her. Not a problem....I call my mom and see if she can better get away from work than I can. She said that she would go get her and I would come home ASAP. Everything is cool right? WRONG!! While mom was picking up Lena, Cora's teacher flags her down and says that she is sick too and needs to go home. (I have learned that as a single mom....you don't take "sick days" for yourself) So when I got home they were both in bed asleep. A very bad sign for my crew. I went back to work my night shift. The next day they still weren't feeling any better...high fevers and all. So I took him to the docs office. WE HAVE THE FLU!! It was so bad that the doctor perscribed me something too! Well this throws everything off....LOL. Lena can't get her braces if she is contagous. I called the ortho to let them know that she is sick. They aren't really "open" tomorrow but they want us to try and get her in tomorrow. If not....on Mon or Tues she has to get her spacers out and they are going to start all over in mid to late March. Well she seems like she will be up to it but there are always more problems. I have class (and a test) at the same time they want us to come in for her braces. Then I'm supposed to be at work at 11:30. Not possible...the ortho is about an hour away from work and did I mention that my parents would already be gone....LOL. That is just too much fun in one day. To top everything off...I thought that I was getting sick last night....I'm not I just hurt my back to the point that breathing hurts. (I do believe the concert is out...no cute austrailian for me...sniff)Sometimes I think that I bit off more than I can chew going back to school and working all the time. If I don't do this though....it's not going to get any better than this! That is NOT acceptible!!
